FAQs
How long before my wedding should I choose my gown.?
As a retailer I would say ‘it’s never too soon’, but as a retailer I would also say ‘don’t panic it’s never too late’. Many gowns are made overseas, so allow up to 20 weeks delivery for your gown and a further 8 10 weeks for fittings and tailoring, to leave you time to breath easy before the big day.
How will I choose?
A good store, RBA recommended, will have friendly expert staff who will lead in the right direction, but also trust yourself. Most girls try the gown of their choice on in the first half hour in the store. You very likely know yourself well and you will instinctively pick out suitable gowns from the beginning.
How much will I have to spend?
You can look beautiful whatever your budget. Some girls don’t mind how much they spend, others have a problem spending lots of money on their gown. Just keep your budget in mind, don’t be worried about sharing this with your sales consultant. Remember you can get twice as much for your money if you buy an ex sample.
What about my bridesmaids?
We offer you advice about to manage different sized bridesmaids with different tastes. Do take a look around alone, choose a few gowns you like before you bring the maids and we will help you from there. It can be quite a challenge, exhausting, but fun too.
What about sizing?
You will be measured and your sizing will be decided between the shop and designer. One rule of thumb is, it’s better to have your gown a little too large. We can do anything with what we’ve got.
